Scope, definitions and interpretation
These Sports Rules govern all bets placed with Xhjili on eligible sporting events. In these Rules, capitalized terms have the following meanings unless the context requires otherwise: Event means a formally scheduled competition; Market means a defined betting outcome within an Event; Bet means a wager placed by a customer; Official Result means the result announced by the event administrator or governing body that determines settlement for the Market; Void means a Bet or Market is cancelled with stakes returned.
These Rules apply to all bets offered by Xhjili unless a Market description on the Site expressly states otherwise or a statute requires a different treatment.
Official results and market settlement
- Settlement basis: Xhjili settles each Market on the Official Result published by the event organizer or governing body. Where the Official Result is amended after a Market has been settled or a Bet has been accepted, Xhjili reserves the right to correct settlement if a material error is identified and the correction occurs before the conclusion of the event’s official reporting window.
- Unfinished events: If an Event is not completed and no Official Result is published within 48 hours after the scheduled end time, Xhjili may void unsettled Bets and refund stakes, except where a Market description expressly states otherwise (for example, Markets that include overtime or shootouts where applicable).
- Overtime and deciders: If an Event proceeds to overtime, shootouts or other deciders and these are included in the Market, settlement is based on the Official Result after those deciders unless the Market description specifies a different treatment. Penalty outcomes are only considered if explicitly described in the Market terms.
- Abandonment and postponement: If an Event is postponed and kickoff occurs within 48 hours from the original start time, Bets remain valid. If the Event is not resumed within 48 hours, Xhjili may void all Bets and refund stakes. If resumed, Bets on Markets that have a determined result remain valid; otherwise Bets may be voided consistent with the resumed outcome.
Event integrity, alterations and urgent corrections
- Integrity and fraud: If Xhjili suspects fraudulent activity or manipulation of an Event, it may:
- keep specific Bets unsettled;
- notify the relevant regulatory bodies;
- wait for a determination and either settle or void Bets in accordance with the authorities’ decision.
VAR, disputes and erroneous outcomes
- Video and data reviews: If a decision from an official source is superseded by a video review or technological adjustment, Bets placed during the interval from the initial incident to the final official decision may be void, unless the Market odds were not affected by the review or the Market has already been settled.
- Corrections: Xhjili reserves the right to reverse previous Settlements if the final official decision requires correction and the decision is communicated before the conclusion of the relevant Event window.
Odds, display and settlement timing
- Odds display: For user experience, displayed odds may be shown with two decimal places. The calculation of Total Payouts uses a sixth decimal place for precision, with the final payout truncated to two decimals. Any discrepancy is attributable to rounding rules.
- Settlement window: The maximum period between initial settlement of a Bet and any post-settlement adjustment is 30 days.
Market formats and standard bets
- Common market identifiers: 1 = Team 1 To Win; X = Draw; 2 = Team 2 To Win; 1X = Team 1 To Win or Draw; 12 = Either Team To Win (no Draw); X2 = Team 2 To Win or Draw; Handicap = goal/point difference applied to one side; Total = total goals/points; Correct Score = exact final score; HT-FT = half-time result and full-time result.
- Handicap and totals: Handicaps are applied to final results. A negative handicap requires the favored team to win by more than the handicap, while a positive handicap allows a loss by a smaller margin for a win. Totals reflect the total points/goals; bets settle when the final official score is determined.
- Scorers: First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer and Anytime Goalscorer markets apply to regular time unless Market terms state otherwise. Own goals are treated as goals only where the Market rules specify so; if a player does not participate, corresponding Bets are void.
Special rules for outright and play-or-pay markets
- Outright Markets: Short-term and long-term outright markets (for example, winner, top positions) remain active despite participant changes unless the Market terms specify otherwise.
- Play-or-Pay: Bets on Outright participants stand even if the listed participant cannot take part, with such markets settled as losses in line with the Market description. Head-to-head (H2H) markets are excluded from this rule; if a listed participant is replaced by another, team-based markets may continue while individual performance bets on the original participant may be void.
Live betting rules
- Live bets: Accepts bets on events in progress only where outcomes are not yet determined. Odds update in real time and reflect live progress. Live bets settle on the official results as soon as the outcome is confirmed by the relevant governing bodies or official protocols.
- Progress and completion: If the event is interrupted, Bets on outcomes not yet determined may be void unless a Market states otherwise. Bets on outcomes determined before interruption stand.
- Claims: Any claims for Live Bets must be submitted within 24 hours of the event start. If the match is abandoned or not completed within 48 hours of starting, Live Bets in relation to that event will be refunded or settled at odds of 1 where not determined.
- Line timing: The line’s “acceptance time” represents when the Bet was accepted by the system; the actual event start time is defined by official records. Live Bets may be suspended or closed if the event is no longer tradable according to official timelines.
Bonus funds and bonus Bets
- Bets placed using bonus balances are governed by the relevant bonus terms. If the bonus is deactivated or the wagering requirements are not met, bets placed from bonus funds may be cancelled or settled as specified by the bonus terms.
- Separate balances: Each customer maintains a real balance and a bonus balance. Real balance is used first for placing Bets; winnings from bonus bets are credited to the bonus balance until the wagering criteria are satisfied.
- Restrictions: It is prohibited to place concurrent bets on multiple outcomes within the same Market using bonus funds to bypass limits. Violations may result in cancellation of bonus funds and related winnings and potential account restrictions.
Eligibility, account restrictions and responsible gaming
- Eligibility: Bets may be restricted to individuals who meet the minimum age requirement and are not otherwise disqualified by law or by Xhjili internal policy. Employees or affiliates of Xhjili and related parties are excluded from participation where prohibited by law.
- Account security and restrictions: Xhjili reserves the right to block or suspend accounts for suspected automated betting or other irregularities. Any account-related decisions are made at Xhjili’s sole discretion.
Disputes, errors and integrity policy
- Bad line and errors: Xhjili may cancel or adjust Bets if there is an obvious incorrect line, misstatement or error in event details. Bets placed after a result is known or with manipulated data may be voided.
- Monitoring for integrity: Xhjili may suspend, void or settle Bets in response to suspected manipulation or prohibited practices, in coordination with applicable regulatory authorities where required.
Dispute resolution, governing law and communications
- Xhjili’s decisions regarding Bets are final, subject to applicable law. Any disputes will be addressed in good faith through the customer support processes available within the account.
Scope of change and notices
Xhjili reserves the right to amend these Rules at any time. Customers will be notified of material changes in a timely manner within the account interface or by official communications. Continued participation after such notices constitutes acceptance of the updated Rules.
